Strengthening female reproductive system

To understand how we can make female reproduction strong we first need to understand few things about the female reproduction system. Let’s first discuss the components of female reproduction system:

    • Vagina – a strong canal of 7.5 cm extending from the wombs neck to the genital.
    • Uterus(womb) – an organ, having a lining called endometrium, an entrance cervix, cervix has a whole at the center called os
    • Fallopian (uterine) tubes – these tubes come from the womb and open near the ovary, they transport the egg to the womb from the ovary.
    • Ovaries – glands having an almond shape. They contain eggs and produce sex hormones..

The menstrual cycle:

Menstrual cycle is controlled by hormones released from ovaries and a brain gland known ad pituitary gland. A girl has her periods usually after 28 days. the entire purpose of menstrual cycle is to make a woman’s womb lining strong. In the middle of the cycle, ovaries release an egg, if the egg by any chance is fertilized while traveling to the womb then it makes the womb lining its home; the womb lining thickens and supports the egg. But if the egg is not fertilized when it reaches the womb, the womb breaks causing menstruation. The cycle repeats till a woman is pregnant.

The ovum (egg)

Females entire reproduction system is made wile she is being made in her mothers womb. When a girl reaches puberty the eggs are released each month. When a woman becomes pregnant or has menopause the eggs are no longer ripened.

Some common issues of the reproductive system are:

For women:

    • Endometriosis – troubles with the womb lining.
    • Fibroids – womb tumors.
    • Infertility – ovary does not ripen amongst many other reasons.
Painful periods – swelling of the womb can be one reason.
    • Premenstrual tension – tension, weight gain and mood swings.
    • Sexually transmitted disease – several bacteria’s or viruses can be transferred from the partner..
